Order Of Business

§  Cat dung in west end planters.  Planters we are speaking of are not part of the moorage property and are not maintained by the beautification committee.  There weren’t any permissions granted to place planters on the walkway.  Currently Vicky Van Dyke is caring for them.  We will request that the individual who placed and planted them, also maintain or remove them.   Walt , just thought jumping to a fine without talking to them was not a good way to go.

§  Gutters. – Auto auction property has an electric fence.  Any work performed close to it needs coordination with them.  Gutters are done & billed to us.

§  5MPH Buoys. – Jory explained that an unknown person (buoy fairy) has been placing buoys at an  (un-named) moorage.  Cost  is ~$350 per. – MCSO has not brought the mystery buoys up with them.  They seem to be ignoring the buoys.  Ann: We have already spent more than budgeted.  And we should table it for now.

§  Garage Recap. – Work completed and excellent solution.  We have just a few more that need finishing.  Unknown if another round will be planned in the future.  .

§  Gate painting. – finished.  Work included the ped gate too.

§  Master Locks & Water Vault. – Vault cover looks good!!  We have spare locks from the PODs we rented and will be used for the Vault.

Dead Tree removal – 2 maples that just didn’t make it. Cost - $485-$835 for tree and root removal, and disposal. Cost included backhoe.   Walt volunteered to attempt to pull

o   Fire, Security And Safety – Nancy Lindgren

§  Fire hydrant tests passed.

§  Parking stickers for friends/family/visitors. – What are the guidelines – 2 months  But if someone asks for a sticker for a friend or relative who comes & goes, give them a sticker.

§  Parking Sticker refusals – a few have not gotten stickers and need to do so.

§  Cargo Van – owner claims it’s a personal vehicle.  Since it’s not being used on a regular basis we can fine for a rule violation.

§  Andresens (53) – Submittal approval letter sent.  Received response to us questioning some of our requirements but we received the response too late to address in the BOD meeting.

§  No Report.

o   Violation & Adjudication – Rick Ruffo

§  We have received complaints about the dog at 32 outside and barking.  The concerned neighbor needs to notify animal control first before complaining to the Committee.
