o The President called the meeting to order at 19:02 and determined there was a quorum with all five members present.
o Facilities & Grounds Ants: The walkway spraying has been accomplished to eliminate the carpenter ants, which should last three months. Whaler boards should not be cleaned or pressure washed for this period. o Garage Floors: Jory has arrived at four options $700 per garage, as tested in Garage C10, which included pressure washing floor and using a hardener. $1,275-1,490, using shot blast to clear loose substance, grind, polish and applying a hardener. $1,000 1,300, using a soda blast and applying epoxy. $1,150, installing interlocking plastic pieces to cover floors. Will consult with Jacobsen acquaintance who deals in concrete. o Power Washing: Completed by Dannys Green Surface Cleaning. o Pump Station: Lid painted by Diverse Works. Pump hose is old and brittle and Jory has one bid for replacement of $675. Rick will review work prior to committing to this bid. o Moorage Facilities Document: Has been reviewed by F&G Committee, Rick and Nancy. Will publish in one week pending any edits. o Ladnscaping: Bark dust and mulch mix project has been completed.
o Fire, Security And Safety Fire extinguishers: All have been checked and re-tagged. Five were taken out of service as we have an excess number and these five were due for expensive hydrostatic testing. It was noted that many will require this testing in 2015 so we can budget accordingly. Fire Marshal: Nancy joined Ray Pratt on his inspection and we passed with flying colors exceptA new law requires fire hydrants to be hydrostatically tested. She will have it done. Gate Motor: Repairs are becoming numerous and parts are rare so a bid was requested from our service and another company. Our service came in at $3,300 and we are awaiting word from the other.
Architectural Review o Antennae: Owner of house with four antennae was notified in May and, following 30 day grace period, removed three but left the tallest in place with a flag. Owner claims it is a flagpole and not an antenna, despite a wire running from the antenna into the house. Clyde offered to visually inspect to ensure it is a flagpole and owner will take offer into consideration. Until that time the BOD considers it an antenna and the matter was sent to the Violation and Adjudication Committee for follow up. o Dock Walk: Completed the last Saturday of June and letters will be emailed through the week. It is estimated that 90% of slips passed and there were no grievous violations.
By-Laws, CC&Rs And Rules o No old business.
Violation & Adjudication Electric Car Costs: Rick will continue to review costs to charge electric cars, versus refrigerators and freezers.
