Order Of Business
- Call to Order; Determination of Quorum.
- The President called the meeting to order and
determined there was a quorum with all members present.
- Reading & Approval Of The Minutes Of Previous Meeting
- The Secretary e-mailed minutes from the previous
meeting.
- Moved, seconded and passed unanimously to
approve January 27, 2013 Annual Meeting of the General Membership
and subsequent Board Meeting minutes.
- All moorage dues are current.
- January total expenses were 120.5% of budget while
February ran 55% for a YTD of 80% to budget.
- Water YTD is 105%, sewer was accrued at $1,300
for February so actual may differ.
- Landscaping 71% of budget, under budget partly
due to $750 allocated to February’s budget for planting and
relocation.
- Sewage pump rebuild cost $6,200 and charged to
reserves.
- Cash reserves are $438k. CDs were purchased in
February:
- $40,000 Bank of India, .2%, terms 09/04/13
- $40,000 Fifth Third Bank, .2%, 12/06/13
- 2012 Federal ans State tax returns have been
completed.
- Moved, seconded and passed unanimously to approve
the Treasurer’s Report.

- We will consider re-building the second sewage
pump now, rather than waiting for failure.

The pumps are used intermittently so get equal usage

Owner instructed to install plumbing/operating toilet, due in
April, Secretary will send a courtesy reminder of deadline.

BOD wondered if home without a license has had the license
replaced.
- Rick will check on his way home, may
remind homeowner.

last spring

- Electric cars: We now have an all-electric car in
moorage.
- BOD believes there may be more cars to come,
wants to evaluate costs of re-charging and establish who pays for
the electricity, car owners or Association.
- Installing a separate electric meter for each
garage is too expensive.
- Secretary will contact the new car owner to
see if manufacturer has provided any annual costs, or kilowatts per
hour, of re-charging, and see what they might think is fair.
- What to do booklet:
- Jory plans to work with her Facilities &
Grounds Committee to create a booklet, or binder, instructing what
to do in the case of emergency, such as the sewage pump alarm
sounding.
