Mark addressed the owners present on the events that led up to Tuesday’s warrant serving action by the Portland Police and other agencies and what is likely to occur in the near future. He praised homeowners for getting involved to protect our community, and said it would not have happened without the action.

o The President called the meeting to order and announced that with 5 Board Members present, a quorum was established.

The Secretary e-mailed out minutes from the previous meeting.
Moved, seconded and passed unanimously to approve May’s Board Meeting minutes
· Treasurer’s Report – Pat Buescher, Treasurer
Water was under budget again in May
Gate maintenance and legal fees were over budget
May’s landscaping bill was not received nor accrued for
Because maintenance is under budget for the year, expenses are under budget
Schwabe CD had matured
Purchased a Bank of Scotland bond
As other investments mature, Pat will seek short-term investments anticipating more favorable interest rates in the future

§ Large mailboxes, keys and locks
o Randy Jacobsen (mail carrier) spearheaded lock changes
o Should be at no charge
§ Five trees appear to be in jeopardy of falling
o Obtained one bid, at $12,000, will get more
o Esther Wright and Roy Ettinger provided two other arborists’ contact info
§ CW has a bid for applying bark dust ($4,350) and will apply in July
§ Landscaping has repaired many broken sprinklers
o When parking, please don’t pull all the way up so sprinklers can spray
Fire, Security And Safety – Steve Weisensee
§ Auto repair (racing) at corner of driveway parks trucks and trailers along driveway
o Clyde contacted landlord
o OK to park along driveway to load and unload, but must be someone present who can move the vehicles in emergency
Architectural Review – Clyde Cornell
§ Dock walk by Architectural Review Committee completed
o Letters to go out soon

Getting bid to replace and add to existing fixtures (brick lighting)
Clyde looking into theater-type I-lighting, glows like neon but is LED
Ramp expansion may rule out rope lighting and I-lighting
