Application Submittal
The architectural review committee (ARC) has adopted a policy for application submittals for review of remodel or move in of floating homes within the West Hayden Island Moorage as required by Article 5 of the CC&Rs.
An application shall be submitted to WHIMOA in writing showing the owners name, current mailing address, phone number, slip number affected, and a brief description of the work to be performed. Along with the application, the submittal shall include the documents shown below and be submitted in three copies. All documents shall have the owners name printed on each copy. Two copies will be returned upon ARC decision.
NEW CONSTRUCTION
New construction is not allowed per CC&Rs 4.11 as the new construction period was stopped after 75% of the sites had homes complete.
REMODEL
- A set of elevation drawings showing roof lines, type of roofing material, siding, and trim. The elevation drawings shall also indicate the color scheme for the roof, siding and trim.
- The drawings shall detail the connection of sewer, water and electrical if modified.
- The drawings shall show a floor plan indicating the square footage of the building and all required setbacks.
- Drawings shall be required for the remodel portion only.
MOVE IN
- A float plan drawing showing the location and positioning of the float in the moorage slip along with a detail of the proposed connection to the moorage head walk facilities.
- A set of colored pictures showing the elevation of all sides.
- The drawings shall detail the connection of sewer, water and electrical.
- The drawings shall show a floor plan indicating the square footage of the building and all required setbacks.
